6 THINGS TO DO IN UNIVERSITY BESIDES CLUBBING

8:14 PM

Partying has never been my cup of tea. Or coffee. I’m a homebody, and I’ve always been a homebody. Not wanting to party is 100% okay! Today on the blog I’m sharing things I love to do at university, besides clubbing.

GET A JOB

If you want to fill empty evenings with something to do AND make a bit of money, a part-time job is a perfect solution! You’ll also meet some interesting people, and maybe even make new friends in the process.

EXPLORE

I love exploring my town - from coffee shops to hiking spots, there’s so much to do! Get familiar with the town you’re staying in, maybe even scout out a few coffee shops to study in.

GYM

Working out can be a really fun way to spend your evenings. I recently fell in love with spinning, but most gyms have tons of fun classes to take part in!

4. GO {WINDOW} SHOPPING

I love shopping. It’s probably one of my vices. But, sometimes I just go to window shop, but occasionally I go to spend some money 👀. Never be scared to check out the clearance rack.

TRY A NEW COFFEE SHOP

Port Elizabeth’s coffee culture is improving all the time, with coffee shops popping up all around the city. Grab a friend and have a coffee date.

WATCH A GAME

Chances are your campus has a ton of sports games happening. Check out their events page to see what’s coming up. If there’s nothing on, check out your local stadium or arena to see what events they are hosting!

I hope this list is helpful for you when you're bored and don't know what to do! Explore your town, get some active hours in or things checked off your to-do list. You don't have to be drunk to have a good time at university, trust me!
